Cardiovascular mortality risk was significantly lower in patients with diabetes who engaged in at least 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise per week, whether it was twice a week (“weekend warriors”) or more frequently, according to an analysis of the National Health Interview Survey.
Clinical decision tool increased OUD treatment orders in primary care, didn't change mortality
Primary care patients who were treated under an electronic health record-integrated clinical decision support system were more likely to receive orders for naloxone or medications for opioid use disorder (OUD) than patients who received usual care.
Certain factors associated with opioid, benzodiazepine coprescription
Patients on long-term opioid therapy were more likely to also get a benzodiazepine prescription if they were on more than 150 mg of morphine equivalents daily, if they started buprenorphine, or if they had anxiety not treated with a serotonergic medication, a retrospective study found.
