ACP announces new Practice Advisor modules, webinar on hypertension

ACP has released new Practice Advisor modules and an associated webinar on hypertension.
- Diagnosis and Initial Management of Hypertension addresses three primary management questions: the diagnosis of hypertension, blood pressure targets for patients, and options for the initial treatment of hypertension.
- Management of Uncontrolled Hypertension delves deeper into the management of patients whose blood pressure is not controlled with initial therapies.
Successful completion of Practice Advisor modules enables the participant to earn CME and MOC Practice Assessment points.
A webinar on “Practical Management of Hypertension in 2018” will be held on Aug. 13, 2018, at 12:15 p.m. ET. It will explore the prevalence and management of hypertension, current guidelines, and practical management considerations. The webinar will be facilitated by Lawrence Ward, MD, MPH, FACP, associate professor of medicine and vice chairman for clinical practice and quality at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
