Obesity care grant opportunity open for ACP members

ACP is excited to offer a members-only grant opportunity as a component of the College's Advancing Equitable Obesity Care initiative.

This grant program is designed to empower ACP members to develop innovative projects that improve access to equitable obesity care by leveraging existing educational offerings. Up to seventeen $25,000 grants will be awarded in spring 2026. The submission deadline is Jan. 28, 2026.

Projects should do the following:

• Educate physicians and care teams with existing CME on evidence-based approaches to obesity management (new CME program proposals will not be accepted).
• Counter stigma, bias, and misinformation.
• Improve care coordination and access for people living with obesity.
• Address links between obesity and cardio-kidney-metabolic syndrome.
• Leverage ACP's existing obesity-related resources and learning materials to close educational and training gaps.
