Registration open for in-person POCUS courses in St. Louis

“POCUS: Foundational Skills for Internal Medicine Physicians” will be held on Nov. 7 and 8, and “Practical POCUS Skills for Internal Medicine Physicians” will take place on Nov. 9.

ACP is holding two live, in-person point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) courses this fall in St. Louis. “POCUS: Foundational Skills for Internal Medicine Physicians” will be held on Nov. 7 and 8, and “Practical POCUS Skills for Internal Medicine Physicians” will take place on Nov. 9. Participants can complete both courses back-to-back.

In “POCUS: Foundational Skills for Internal Medicine Physicians,” a two-day course, attendees will receive small-group hands-on POCUS training that is applicable to any practice setting.

“Practical POCUS Skills for Internal Medicine Physicians” is a one-day course designed to advance clinical assessment skills through interactive training and individualized feedback from expert faculty. Participants can choose an inpatient or outpatient track. The inpatient track will focus on advanced cardiopulmonary techniques, while the outpatient track will focus on integrating the broad field of soft-tissue and musculoskeletal POCUS into the clinic. Both tracks will cover topics like biliary ultrasound, aortic ultrasound, and a multisystem ultrasound physical.

Participants will earn CME/MOC credits after completing each course. Early Bird pricing is offered through Sept. 1, and registration closes Oct. 22. Learn more and register online.
