ACP to hold first Internal Medicine Meeting welcome reception

Internal medicine physicians can join colleagues on April 18 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center to network and celebrate the depth and breadth of internal medicine's professional identities and communities.

ACP's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee is proud to present the inaugural Welcome Reception during Internal Medicine Meeting 2024 in Boston. Attendees can join other internal medicine physicians on April 18 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center to network and celebrate the depth and breadth of their professional identities and communities. ACP is proud to use this new opportunity to lift up the internal medicine communities highlighted in our membership app, ACP Connect.

In the past, receptions were held for many different groups, including Black Physicians, Hispanic/Latinx Physicians, Pan-Asian Physicians, LBGTQ+ Allies, Global Physicians, International Medical Graduates, Women in Medicine, Early Career Physicians, Resident/Fellow Members, and Medical Students. The new reception unites the many voices of internal medicine under one meaningful event, allowing members to come and meet their colleagues in person and continue the conversations throughout the year.

Due to limited space, ACP strongly encourages prospective attendees to purchase tickets in advance. There is a nominal fee for this event ($25 per ticket).
