ACP releases updated case modules on high-value care
The modules feature two to three brief cases that can be completed in under an hour and help internal medicine physicians enhance their clinical skills and deliver patient-centered, cost-effective care.
ACP's newly updated High Value Care (HVC) Case Modules help internal medicine physicians enhance their clinical skills and deliver patient-centered, cost-effective care.
Each module features two to three brief cases that can be completed in under an hour. They include the following topics.
- Eliminating Health Care Waste: Reduce costs and maximize benefits
- The Cost of Care: Estimate costs and potential cost barriers to care
- Diagnostic Processes: Enhance clinical reasoning skills and reflect on current processes
- Care Setting and Cost: Explore the impact of care settings on the overall cost of care
These interactive HVC cases offer online CME and MOC medical knowledge points and patient safety credits. CME/MOC is free to ACP members.
