Clinical skills programs offer hands-on, interactive learning at Internal Medicine Meeting 2023
In-person attendees can add tickets for activities in the Clinical Skills Center, including procedure training, to their Internal Medicine Meeting 2023 registration until April 25.
Those who attend Internal Medicine Meeting 2023 in person in San Diego will have access to the Clinical Skills Center from April 27 to 29. The Clinical Skills Center offers a dynamic collection of interactive, hands-on, and educational activities for internal medicine physicians, including:
- procedure and examination activities, in which internal medicine physicians receive instructor feedback while learning common procedures, refining interpretive skills, and updating physical examination skills in a small group setting.
- Ultrasound Alley, which offers point–of–care ultrasound education sessions for beginners as well as those with prior ultrasound experience.
- clinical workshops, which focus on communication and interpretive and systems-based practice skills.
Meeting attendees can add Clinical Skills Center activity tickets to their meeting registration until April 25 ($25 per activity). Register and learn more at the Internal Medicine Meeting 2023 website.
There is no ticket required to attend the clinical workshops, but because of their special educational requirements, they have a limited number of seats available. It is highly recommended that attendees arrive at the classroom well in advance of the scheduled start time.
