ACP and Annals of Internal Medicine presented “Monkeypox: Challenging Clinical Questions” on Tuesday, Oct. 11. The virtual forum featured a panel of physicians providing answers to commonly asked questions about the human monkeypox virus and was moderated by Deborah Cotton, MD, MPH, Deputy Editor of Annals of Internal Medicine.
The panelists joining the discussion were:
- Roy M. Gulick, MD, MPH, Rochelle Belfer Professor in Medicine and chief of the division of infectious diseases at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City;
- Stuart N. Isaacs, MD, associate professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine and attending physician in infectious diseases at Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center; and
- Cassandra M. Pierre, MD, MSc, assistant professor of medicine in infectious diseases at Boston University School of Medicine.
