ACP, Annals of Internal Medicine host ninth forum on COVID-19

ACP and Annals of Internal Medicine presented COVID-19 Forum IX: Management of Patients with Persistent Symptoms after COVID-19 on Tuesday, May 24. The ninth edition of the forum series featured expert panelists addressing challenges related to the care of patients with persisting symptoms following acute SARS-CoV-2 infection. The forum was moderated by Elisa I. Choi, MD, FACP, Chair of ACP's Board of Governors.
The panelists included:
- Carlos del Rio, MD, FACP, executive associate dean and distinguished professor in the department of medicine, division of infectious diseases at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta;
- Aluko Hope, MD, MSCE, associate professor in the division of pulmonary/critical care and medical director of the Long COVID-19 Program at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland;
- H. Clifford Lane, MD, MACP, deputy director of clinical research and special projects and director of the division of clinical research at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; and
- Lindsay Lief, MD, Abby Joseph Cohen Clinical Scholar and associate professor of clinical medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University and associate attending physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
