ACP's new, four-part telemedicine education series, Telemedicine 201, debuts its first episode, “Video Visits: Beyond Simple Cases,” on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m. ET.
The hour-long “Video Visits: Beyond Simple Cases” episode will help internists expand their understanding of and skills at treating medically complex patients through video visits. Presenters include Sharon Dlhosh, MD, MPH, FACP; Tabassum Salam, MD, MBA, FACP; and Judy Greengold, CRNP.
In this episode, presenters will:
- demonstrate best practices for conducting a head-to-toe physical exam virtually,
- discuss the strengths and limitations of telemedicine in managing patients, and
- provide tips for leveraging tools to maximize visit efficacy.
