ACP Health Policy Internship Program accepting applications through Oct. 31
Interns will have the opportunity to attend congressional hearings and coalition meetings and accompany government affairs staff on lobbying visits to members of Congress.
The 2020 ACP Health Policy Internship application cycle is open until Oct. 31, 2019. The internship provides a multifaceted opportunity to learn about the legislative process, health policy, and advocacy in organized medicine.
Interns will assist with researching and analyzing current issues in health and medical education policy, ongoing advocacy initiatives, and development of advocacy materials. They will have the opportunity to attend congressional hearings and coalition meetings and accompany government affairs staff on lobbying visits to members of Congress and their staff, as well as to events.
