ACP partners with Core IM podcast to provide continuing education to ACP members
The podcast features four categories of episodes with topics ranging from knowledge translation and clinical reasoning to critical thinking and humanities.
ACP and Core IM podcast, which features clinically relevant and internal medicine-specific information for physicians of all levels and backgrounds, have partnered to offer continuing education to ACP members. The first podcast episode in the partnership, “5 Pearls on Calcium Scores and Coronary CTAs,” is now available on the ACP podcast landing page.
Core IM features four categories of episodes that range from knowledge translation and clinical reasoning to critical thinking and humanities topics:
- 5 Pearls: The hosts solidify five applicable, relevant pearls on an internal medicine topic.
- Hoofbeats: Experienced clinicians are challenged to solve diagnostically difficult cases with listeners in real time.
- Mind the Gap: The hosts explore the evidence, or lack thereof, for common internal medicine practices to tackle knowledge gaps and challenge dogma.
- At the Bedside: Participants discuss humanities topics that reach beyond traditional evidence-based medicine and delve into the ethics and emotions that come with practicing today.
After listening to each episode, ACP members can log in to ACP's Online Learning Center to claim CME credit and MOC points.
