ACP offers free webinar on atrial fibrillation stroke prevention on March 6
Attendees will learn how to effectively assess at-risk patients, discuss the relationship between atrial fibrillation and stroke, and discuss effective prevention strategies.
A free webinar, “The 5 W's + H of Afib Stroke Prevention,” will be presented on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at 1 p.m. EST by Alpesh Amin, MD, MACP, professor and chair of the Department of Medicine and executive director of the hospitalist program at University of California, Irvine; Governor for ACP Southern California Region II; and Past President California-ACP.
At the conclusion of the webinar, attendees should be able to effectively assess patients who are at risk for atrial fibrillation stroke, discuss the relationship between atrial fibrillation and stroke, and discuss effective treatment strategies in preventing stroke in atrial fibrillation patients.
