Reminder: ACP Innovation Challenge application deadline is Nov. 30
The event showcases the best and brightest ideas from practicing physicians, fellows, residents, and medical students that have the potential to transform the practice of internal medicine on a national level.
ACP is accepting applications until Nov. 30, 2018, for the fourth “Shark Tank”- styled competition that will be held at Internal Medicine Meeting 2019 in Philadelphia in April.
The event showcases the best and brightest ideas from practicing physicians, fellows, residents, and medical students that have the potential to transform the practice of internal medicine on a national level. Selected finalists will present their projects to a panel of judges in front of a live audience at the meeting. Participation in the ACP Innovation Challenge is open to ACP members only.
A Grand Prize winner will be selected by the judges on Saturday, April 13, and awarded $20,000 to support implementation/study of their idea. In addition, an Audience Choice prize of $5,000 will be awarded to a finalist selected during the session from those watching the competition. All finalists will receive complimentary scientific program registration to Internal Medicine Meeting 2019.
This is a great opportunity to reimagine the practice of internal medicine, connect with peers, and build your CV.
All applicants will be notified whether or not they have been selected for the semifinal round of interviews by Jan. 15, 2019. For more information and to apply, visit ACP's website.
