ACP's Practice Assessment Tool for screening for breast and prostate cancer is now available online.

This free activity is recommended for physicians who have limited experience in practice assessment or are new to the health care quality improvement process, as well as physicians who have limited access to aggregated patient care data from patient registries, health system or hospital reports, physician pay-for-performance programs, or electronic health records. It offers the following:

  • a web-based, retrospective patient data collection
  • a customized baseline performance report
  • an action plan tool
  • a shared decision-making video and chart
  • a performance re-measurement tool for collecting follow-up data after implementation
  • a performance report showing the results of the re-measurement
  • links to a collection of related practice resources for physicians and patients

The tool is eligible for up to 20 CME credits and 20 Maintenance of Certification Practice Assessment points.
