ACP has launched its first interactive multimedia module on “Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain.”
The module provides an overview of CDC guidelines on prescribing opioids for chronic pain and allows users to review common clinical questions and receive feedback while learning. The module also includes embedded resources from both the CDC and ACP, is free to ACP members, and works on handheld and tablet devices.
At the conclusion of the activity, members can take a quiz to receive CME credit and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) points. The credit may apply to opioid education requirements set by their state or local institution.
For more online activities that are eligible for CME credits and MOC points, visit ACP's Online Learning Center.
