ACP's Genesis Registry® helps physicians meet meaningful use reporting deadline

Interested practices are strongly encouraged to act by Jan. 31, 2016, to help ensure that contracting is complete by the Feb. 29 deadline.

One requirement of CMS’ final rule for meaningful use is that eligible health care professionals actively engage in public health registries, which includes “specialized registries.” In order to meet the 2016 public health reporting requirement, clinicians must attest their intent to report to a specialized registry before Feb. 29, 2016.

ACP's Genesis Registry®, a specialized clinical data registry for quality improvement, can help clinicians meet this reporting requirement. The Genesis Registry supports 50 electronic clinical quality measures that are used in meaningful use, the Physician Quality Reporting System, and other value-based payment programs and facilitates data connectivity through partnerships with electronic health record vendors. The annual fee for Genesis is $299 per physician per year. Note that 1-time integration fees may apply.

Interested practices are strongly encouraged to act by Jan. 31, 2016, to help ensure that contracting is complete by the Feb. 29 deadline. For more information, visit the program's website.
