James R. Bonner, MD, FACP, died on Aug. 13 at the age of 78.
James R. Bonner, MD, FACP, died on Aug. 13 at the age of 78.
He was a past Governor of the Alabama Chapter of ACP.
Dr. Bonner graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees in biophysics and medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he worked as a physician for more than 40 years, most of that time in infectious disease and allergy and immunology.
