ACP Hospitalist relaunched its Web site , where you can find all of its print and online content, including ACP HospitalistWeekly, its upcoming blog, and polls and surveys (including the cartoon caption contest).

ACPNet

Depression Project - This Web-based educational program aims to help physicians learn how to evaluate and manage patients with depression. This study will: 1) implement a Web-based toolkit that will cover screening/management of depression, 2) educate clinicians on how to use patient self-reports of depression as a primary tool, 3) educate clinicians on current standards and guidelines, and 4) provide links to patient education materials.

Launching at Internal Medicine 2009

ACP COPD Portal

This new publicly available Web site offers a wide variety of content and resources for patients and families dealing with COPD as well as for clinicians involved in their clinical care. The site is continuously updated with new content from the ACP's Annals of Internal Medicine, MKSAP, ACP Journal Club, PIER, ACPNet, and other ACP and non-ACP publications. Users can rate and comment on the relative value of the resources.

EHR Partner Program, year 2

This home of the ACP EHR Partners Program, now in its second year, includes an updated version of the EHR product selector tool that enables users to perform side-by-side comparisons of up to three systems at a time. Search through the 24 vendors' products by a wide range of criteria and receive categorized feedback, all presented in a convenient side-by-side format.

Latest ACP Clinical Guidelines Recommendations on PDA

Updated quarterly, this free resource puts the entire collection of Recommendation Summaries for all current ACP Clinical Guidelines in the palm of your hand via your PalmOS or Windows Mobile device. The current collection includes over 20 recommendation summaries of evidence-based clinical guidelines.

MKSAP 15

A video premiere for MKSAP 15 at the ACP Exhibit Booth #925 will show visitors the newest features of MKSAP 15, interviews with contributors, and demonstrations to use MKSAP for certification and recertification. You will also be able to place orders at a significant pre-publication discount.

Also, ACP staff will hold informal presentations explaining how MKSAP, ACP courses, QI programs, and other ACP resources can help physicians complete the American Board of Internal Medicine Maintenance of Certification program. Presentations last about 10-15 minutes, and will be scheduled every half hour during break times in the exhibit hall on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Presentations will take place at the MKSAP booth in the ACP exhibit hall. A representative from ABIM will also be on hand to explain how the MOC process works.
